![]() The 9600LS has 20 power settings and 20 temperature settings, the largest range of any burner we tested, and it maintains lower temperatures better than our previous pick. It costs a bit more than our former main pick, the Duxtop 9100MC, but the extra money buys you a slicker control panel, as well as the ability to cook everything with more precision and less frustration. Hope this helps. The Duxtop 9600LS has the best combination of settings, consistency, features, and usability in its category. Cons less cooking surface and ability to move easily around patio. Pros were better grease trap drain, more shelves, (folding) shelves, leveling ability, griddle pre-seasoning and grilling grates being included. ![]() I did a very detailed research of this grill against the 'Blackstone' and chose the Camp Chef. Overall, we have cooked only 3 times on both grill and griddle and it was an enjoyable experience sans the frustration of one burner's ignition being a concern. Camp Chef subsequently shipped the missing parts and told me to put them on. The hangars were simply missed before shipping from the company, but I was able to fabricate hangars and mount them in order to use the grill. Calls to Camp Chef yielded that I didn't need the bolts and washers as required by the instruction sheet. The hose to connect the propane tank to the grill is really short and barely long enough to mount. Other disappointments were poor assembly instructions, missing parts (all washers, bolts of different sizes) and the total absence of hangars for the grease trap. Cooking experience is great however clean-up is more difficult, primarily due to having to scrap etc over a hot surface. This is important as I have one igniter/gas tube that is difficult to light and I have to take extra measures to ensure it is lit. A big concern is that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to see if burners are ignited.
